Domain name sales / Re: Escrow

With the advent of SegWit, Bitcoin looks like an interesting alternative as an escrow service. I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who has used multi-signatures to perform an escrow function.
Domain name sales / Re: xyz1 - My domain name auction and listing site

I've added a few more names to this site, but I'm coming to the conclusion that domain names are good hedge against inflation and global uncertainty. I'm not too bothered about selling any at the moment, but if you see a name that you like, please send me a pm with an offer.

I saw this post on Name Pros, and I thought it was great, To view the full poem, click this link

'Twas the night of renewals

‘Twas the night of renewals, and all ‘round the ‘net’
Not a buyer would aid with my mountain of debt.
My names were all listed at auction with care,
In the hopes that end users would flock to them there.

My bottom was nestled all snug in the couch,
While visions of failure caused me to slouch.
And mama in her anger, and I with my pride,
Had just settled in to argue our sides.

I've had to close this site. I had hopes that it would become a useful resource for domainers, but I didn't get much interest from reputable guys, and I got hit by spammers. I'll turn it into yet another personal listing site.

If somebody want to buy the name, and build a flip dump site, then please contact me.
Domain name sales / The Baron is giving away free web hosting
« Last post by Kuffy on November 26, 2016, 02:58:43 PM »
The Baron has started listing his "flip" names on the Flip Dump site. Name flipping has been a quick selling method between domainers, but The Baron wants to introduce the concept to end users, and he is offering free hosting with all of his names sold via The Flip Dump. Buyers will get a month of free hosting to test the traffic, and to give them time to build their main website. Hosting is provided by WSWD web hosting{/url] , and the one month hosting is the basic budget plan. Of course, upgrades are available by negotiation with WSWD. Buyers and sites must comply with the standard terms and conditions for WSWD hosting.

Our new Flip Dump site is now open. It provides a free venue for you to list the names you are flipping. Please don't list adult gambling or pharma names, as we are providing "family friendly" sites.

Since Brandon Abbey ( the former owner of sold the business, there seem to have been a number of reported problems. I would suggest that you use with caution until the new company activities have become a bit clearer. I believe that Brandon Abbey has moved to the new escrow service provided by Payoneer.

Apologies for leaving it closed for so long. I statted to receive a lot of spam across a number of my sites, and I disabled all user interaction to  avoid spending hours deleting spam and strange messages.

New membership reuires admin approval, and I apologise for this, but I hope this will keep the boards clean and interesting.

I've been sorting out my domain portfolio, adding a few more names to it, and starting a few monetising projects. I've also been experimenting with audio recording.
Presta Shop / Too many inodes
« Last post by Kuffy on November 25, 2016, 06:35:57 AM »
I've had to remove my demo shop for Presta Shop. I found tht it was using about 12,000 inodes, and, as I had it installed on a budget hosting package, it was preventing me from hosting some other domains that use CMS software.
